As a teacher and a former Great British Bake Off winner, my mission is to inspire and empower people to embrace the joy of baking. I understand how intimidating it can feel, and how overwhelming some recipes can be. That’s why I keep my courses small, with plenty of opportunities for questions, clear, easy-to-follow instructions, and—most importantly—bakes that are sure to delight your taste buds! Whether you’re a beginner or seasoned baker, I’m here to help you build confidence in the kitchen and create something truly delicious.

You’ll bake perfectly zesty lemon drizzle bars, mini Victoria sponges, and the classic cream scone topped with homemade strawberry jam. This class is perfectly timed for the warmer weather – ready for you to host your very own charming garden Afternoon Tea party.
Elegance of The Opera Cake

Matty will guide you through mastering the art a bake known to be so elegant it takes its name after the Palais Garnier opera house. Together, you will bake a delicious almond joconde sponge soaked with rich coffee and layered between silky coffee French buttercream and rich chocolate ganache.
