Method
- Make the cake batter by beating sugar and butter until pale and fluffy. Individually beat in the eggs combining well between each addition. Add flour and fold in until just combined.
- Divide cake batter evenly between 2 bowls. Make chocolate batter by adding coco powder and milk and combine. Make orange batter by adding remaining ingredients and combine.
- Fill lined mini loaf tin with alternate batters and marble by running a cocktail stick or knife through the mix. Bake for 17-22mins at 170 degrees C or until skewer comes out clean. Once baked, allow to cool fully.
- Make Nutella core by combining Nutella and orange zest together and place in piping bag.
- To make the glaze, melt the chocolate and combine with oil. Place in piping bag.
- Once sponges are cooled, core the centre from each sponge. I used a plastic dowel rod to core the centre (wide straw). Squeeze in Nutella mix into the centre from each side of the sponge to ensure it completely filled. Scrape any excess Nutella from each side of the sponge.
- Pour the glaze over the sponge so that it is completely covered. Do this over a wire rack with cling film underneath, this will allow you to reuse the glaze.
- Allow the glaze to set for 5minutes and enjoy!
