Chocolate Truffles Recipe

These chocolate truffles are the perfect and quick sweet treat that allow you to really make you own. Whether they are covered with coco powder, chopped nuts or dried fruit, they will always be delicious.

Ingredients

Dark Chocolate

  • 150g cream
  • 150g (70%) dark chocolate
  • 30g butter

    Milk Chocolate
  • 150g milk chocolate
  • 125g cream
  • 10g butter

    White Chocolate
  • 150g white chocolate
  • 75g cream
  • 20g butter

    Topping Ideas
  • Chopped nuts; hazelnuts, pistachios
  • Dried fruit; cranberries, desiccated coconut
  • Coco powder, melted chocolate

Method

Dark/Milk Chocolate: Place the cream into a saucepan and bring to the boil. Put the chocolate into a bowl and pour over the heated cream. Add the butter and stir until you create a smooth ganache with all ingredients combined. Place in the fridge to set and then roll into small balls

White Chocolate: Place the chocolate, cream and butter into a bowl and place over a pan of simmering water and melt. Once melted place into the fridge to set. Once set, scoop the mix and roll into balls. Once your truffles are shaped, roll each ball into your chosen topping and package
