Pizza Dough Recipe
A homemade pizza beats a takeaway or shop bought one every time – especially with this pizza dough recipe! A thin base with a pillowy crust that no one will be leaving on the plate!
Ingredients
Pizza Dough
- 500g Allinson’s Strong White Bread Flour
- 1 sachet Allinsons Easy Bake/Time Saver Yeast
- 2tsp salt
- 300ml warm water
- 50ml olive oil
Toppings - 1 ball mozzarella
- 1 ball pizza mozzarella
- 1 tin chopped tomatoes
- 1 jar (or fresh) nduja
- Salt & pepper
- Basil

Method
- Mix the flour, yeast, sugar and salt in a big bowl. Mix the water and oil together, then stir
- Knead onto a lightly flour dusted surface and knead for 10 minutes (or use the dough hook attachment on your mixer for 5 minutes).
- Lightly grease the mixing bowl with some oil. Put the dough back in, cover the bowl with a clean tea towel and leave to rise until doubled in size. Preheat your oven to 240°C (fan 220°C, gas mark 9).
- Divide the dough into 3 pieces – keep others under the tea towel to stop them drying out. Roll a piece of dough to as thin as you can get it on a lightly floured surface.
- Place the dough onto a floured baking sheet or pizza stone and top with the tomato sauce, mozzarella’s, nduja and seasoning then bake for 10-15minutes until crisp and golden on top
